Trey WilsonTrey Wilson
3rd season


Trey Wilson is in his third season with the Curve and fifth overall on the airwaves in Minor League Baseball. Wilson joined the Curve prior to the 2015 season.

Prior to coming to Altoona, Wilson called games for the Lansing Lugnuts in Michigan, the Class-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, in the Midwest League during the 2015 season. He spent the previous year as the Director of Media Relations & Broadcasting with the Bluefield Blue jays, Toronto's Appalachian League affiliate in southern West Virginia.

Wilson held multiple positions in the athletic department at Bluefield College in Virginia from 2010 through 2015, spending parts of six years as the school's lead broadcaster for football, basketball, baseball and volleyball while helping launch the Rams Digital Sports Network and serving as the Assistant Director of New Media & Sports Information.

In 2011 and 2012, Wilson wrote for Fox Sports-affiliated, covering minor league prospects in the Appalachian League. He also spent parts of those two years as an intern in the sports department at WVVA, an NBC-affiliate television station, where he covered Virginia Tech, Marshall and West Virginia University among other collegiate and high school programs. He has done freelance work voicing collegiate national championship events across the United States and high school state championship events in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.

A native of Portsmouth, Va., Wilson enjoys traveling, U.S. history, photography and playing music. He earned a bachelor's degree in communication and journalism from Bluefield College.


Nathan Bowen
Nathan Bowen5th season


Nate Bowen enters his fifth season with the Altoona Curve and his sixth season overall on the air in minor league baseball. He has also held broadcasting and media relations roles with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (AA - Texas League), Durham Bulls (AAA - International League) and the Princeton Rays (Rookie - Appalachian League).

Bowen began his broadcasting career at Baldwin-Wallace University in 2005 and served as the broadcaster for the Division III School's football, basketball, and baseball teams through the 2009 season. In addition to being a play-by-play broadcaster, he co-founded The Morning Buzz, a daily morning show on the campus radio station WBWC 88.3 FM the Sting.

Following graduation, Bowen served as the lead broadcaster for AM 1330 WELW for local high school and college sports. During the offseason he broadcasts local high school football and basketball in the Altoona Area for AM 1400 WWGE, and he serves as the voice of Carnegie Mellon University basketball. 

A native of Fremont, Ohio, Bowen enjoys rooting for Buffalo and Ohio sports teams, traveling, running, and meeting new and interesting people. He earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcasting/Mass Communications/Public Relations from Baldwin-Wallace University in 2009.


Max Gun
1st season


Max Gun joins the Curve for the 2017 season after spending 2016 with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (A-Adv. - California League), an affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Gun, a native of West Bloomfied, Mich., is a graduate of Michigan State University.
